Access the ToolBefore submitting an application, your organization must register by Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Only registrants will be able to submit an application.
Register NowOnce registration has closed, registrants will have four additional weeks to submit their applications. All applications are due Thursday, March 11, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
View the ApplicationOver a period of several weeks, each application will be reviewed to ensure that it meets the challenge requirements and rules. All eligible applications will proceed to the next stage.
View RulesEach applicant will review and provide scores and comments on five other applications using the scoring rubric. Peer reviews are due Monday, April 26, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
View Scoring RubricApplicants may be asked to score and comment on additional applications. Final peer reviews are due no later than Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

View Expert Panel ReviewInformed by the results of the expert review panel, up to ten Finalists will be selected to receive one-year planning grants and additional support.

Learn MoreAt least three $20 million and two $10 million grants will be awarded to the organizations with the most compelling proposals to advance racial equity. Awards will be granted over the next nine years to coincide with the foundation’s 100th anniversary in 2030.
